Is there a fuseable link in the ignition wiring

I created a spark when i lowered the steering column,, an now when i start
it,,it will only run for 2 or 3 seconds and dies everytime...

I don't know but a fuseable link would just kill the circuit when it blows. I would look elsewhere. Do you know what sparked when you were working on it? If so, that would be the place to start.
