why there is a lack of power

Hi guy's I have a 16.0 sport opel Corsa bakkie that
has no power it does not go above 80 speed I
recently changed the steering rack on the bakkie
but I don't think that's got anything to do with the
lack of power please help guy's what can be the
problem

Clogged exhaust system: bad catalytic converter.
