Will a 302 V8 bolt up to the transmission in my 1963 Fairlane if it has a 260 V8 in it now or do I have I change the tranny too??

The 260, 289, & 302 etc. should all be the same.

The tranny isn't the issue its the bell housing bolt pattern. Check it anyhow to make sure. I belive Ford made them all the same. Remember the Sunbeam Tiger with a Ford V8? Guys would swap-out the 260 for a 289 or 302 all the time.
