Why would there be oil all over my oil dip stick on my 2003 ford expedition

I wiped it off several times and every time it reads oil all over the stick
The car hadn't been driven and when I did drive.it.all.gauges were.good
But it is.leaking oil now. Any suggestions??

It sounds to me like it could have been overfilled on your last oil change. Did you have this problem before the oil change? Also, it could be blow by caused by too much crankcase pressure. Is there oil anywhere else like under the car floorboards or sides of engine?
