Hay MG guys, I am trying to solve hot foot. I have to pull the motor and trans for rebuild. What can I do while those are out to solve hot foot?

Are you missing the under-floor heat shield? That would explain a lot as it does prevent a lot of heat radiating to the floor, so if it's gone you may want to replace it. Also Moss does an improved heat shield or if you ar eon a budget and have a sheet of aluminium sitting around doing nothing you can make one yourself.
