That's called being a hack Don't do it, check power from the switch, check operation of flasher. Here's a wiring diagram to help you do it correctly

ok thank you

it's all fried out now what

under the dash on right side of steering wheel

Define fried out, wires burnt? if so you may have to get a hold of some junk yards out west and find a replacement harness or if you can remove the old one and rewire the bad section.

I am rewiring as of this morning and I have tail lights and running lights but no blinkers and can't seem to find the spot cot connect power to to get them on and dose the car cone with back up light, originally

The back up lights are controlled with a switch usually combined with the neutral safety switch either on the column or if you have a floor shifter it's on the shifter mechanism. The power for the turn signals (from the fuse box) is routed through the turn signal switch and then out to the flasher and from there to the taillights
