Car won't heat
Asked by Mike Jan 06, 2017 at 12:15 AM about the 1994 Plymouth Duster
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Car has 360,000 miles. Still runs great but little
heat. Have flushed heater core, changed
thermostat, heater core lines in and out on firewall
are hot. Is it possible not enough friction being
made because of high miles? Possible heater box
problems?

Even tho you flushed out the heater core I suspect that there is such a build up of hard crap in it that only could be removed by roding it out by taking a end tank off. Bring it to a radiator shop they can do this, or replace the heater core. Both in and out lines are hot, meaning you have flow to the heater core so no air pockets to purge out.
