Nissan pulsar 2003 starts fine but can only rev to 2000 rpm

Car starts fine but it can only rev to 2000rpm. It is having low power

Thanks so much, i have found the problem already. It is the clogged catalytic converter as you said. I removed the exhaust manifold from the cylinder head and started the engine. The rev responded after removing the exhaust manifold. Once again, thanks so much for your insight
