I have a 2004 Ford Ranger extended cab V6.
It's two wheel drive, but in the dash where all
indicator lights (check engine, oil, etc.) There
is a light that says 4 high and low basically a
4 wheel drive light. I've just been wondering
why this is? When there's no switch or
anything to actually put it into 4 wheel drive.
Does it mean it's optional? That I could
make it 4 wheel drive? May seem like a
stupid question, but why even have the lights
there when it's 2 wheel drive?
