second gear could air in the line afte clutch replacement cause this?
Grinding is usually a syncro problem.
Could be the syncros in the tranny, meaning it is worn, or maybe the clutch is installed wrong or just needs adjusting- hopefully, it's the latter-
How do you adjust the clutch or know if its installed wrong?
Your clutch is not disengaging properly. It is likely a throw out bearing problem. Either wrong bearing or faulty assembly.
