Interesting fault? More info needed. Try this - when your car is doing this fault what is happening on the dash display, are you getting any lights coming on namely the engine management warning lamp, what is the coolant temp reading, what is the oil level display showing. When the fault happens try depressing the clutch pedal or knocking the auto into neutral and then rev, the engine should rev freely. Come back to me with some details.
