is my transmission gone or is it a sensor I can change?

More likely, your clutch starts to slip up ! Transmission is the best bet based on how u explained it ! I don't think sensor is the problem !

I'm not sure about this but have you checked the valet switch? It could be on

Sometimes a clogged catalytic converter will strangle the engine- have it checked first-

did you check your maf censor it is possible to limit your engines output
