Hahahaha That is incredibly false! Most models of Countach could only achieve a speed somewhere in the 155-170 range. A European version of a 5000QV could reach only 181.6 (Tested on the Nardo track by the Italian Ministry of Transportation), and a 1975 high performance concept verison of the countach named the Water Wolf could only make it to 196mph, which is still a little unbelievable and untested.
192mph its booked at
It's Bugatties speed
186, but the engine was very fragile and this top speed is documented. In contrast, it is very difficult to even get it's predecessor the Diablo to reach 170.
Who cares, never ran my own over 135 and didn't want to, unless on a track maybe. and they always drip oil like an old Harley and unreliable over 30,000 miles At least the older ones in the 90,s for sure
