My car is 3 years old, just over 30,000 miles and I am told the power steering fluid needs to be changed. Is this normal.? Also was told in the near future I will need new tires??

Its not a bad idea to change the fluid especially if the manual calls for it. Changing the tires is normal for any car. Depending on tires, driving habits, vehicle, weather and many other factors.
