Put a new battery in a Gmc 1993 sierra truck; won't hold charge. Any idea why?

Check and clean all battery and frame/motor ground connections. Also check alternator voltage it should be charging at 14.5 volts. If all this checks out you might have a parasitic draw issue.

See if the radio clock stays on when you take the key out,thats what happened to my fathers truck
