how do you run the truck without it being too cold

i have a 77 gmc sierra k25 and it is getting cold outside. it has trouble running in the cold to where it has trouble staying alive when im driving it, and i was wondering what i should do

if u let it warm up it will run i have a 77 and drive it all year around
