I had one and sold it. Acura basically lies on their estimated mileage you will get when driving the MDX. Three friends had them and sold them as the mileage was so low. Sell It!!

how you drive it is really the only way to get it to change. forced induction does not improve mileage. once exhaust and intake are added a tune should be done....which in turn will probably make your mileage the same as it was if not worse.

there r performance chips u can hook into ur car and have it give u 30% better fuel economy....they have actual chips, and ive seen ones at best buy and car parts stores that just plug right into ur cigarette lighter...i think around $80 for the plug in one

idk if the ones at best buy work, but the chips DO, its very simple to improve fuel economy on a car electronically, it just goes into ur ECU and changes ur air fuel mixture to give u slightly less performance, but more fuel economy....i installed one in my scion that had a dial so i could infinitely choose between economy and performance, when i had it all the way over to economy my average fuel consumption went from 28 mpg to 33 mpg...and when i had it all the way to performance my 0-60 went from 10 seconds to 9 seconds....i did it all in a auto project when i was taking classes for auto tech
