I have a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado K1500, 4X4 Suburban, with fuel injection, 5.7 liters, 8 cylinders. What is the difference between a R1500, V1500, and a K1500?

The R1500 is a 4x2, the K1500 is a 4x4.
