Does anyone know of any cars that are older that get 40/50+ MPG??  I've heard that old Rabbits or Civics get near that.

I've never heard of a car that got that much that wasn't a hybrid. That's really good though, I might look into it.

1993-2004 Geo Metro, will make 40 plus MPG if you find a good one, I believe some of them were 1.3 liter, that made as much as 50MPG!
