fuel gauge gives faulty reading after replacing fuel pump

did it have a half tank in it when you drove off or was it low on gas ?


Who ever replaced the Pump probably hit the assembly and dislocated the float .. Most newer cars have a one piece pump and float assembly

Double check the wiring at the pump assembly. You may have a bad connection. HTH. -Jim
