Vauxhall vectra overheating at hi speed

Asked by Millsy1969 Feb 26, 2014 at 01:55 PM about the Vauxhall Vectra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

at high speeds the temperature gauge goes into red. It is fine until the speed gets up to 80mph, after this the temperature gauge goes straight into red and eventually the warning light comes on if you don't slow down. Radiator fan switch has been replaced, but the problem continues. The car is a Vauxhall Vectra 1.9 diesel SRI, 2008.
