Question type: Car Customization

I have a four 79 nova and looking to put aftermarket rims nothing to flashy nut diffenetly chrome without breaking the bank could id like to put 15 inch krugars on it but how wide can the rim be without grinding the wheel wells

75

I have 15/250s I think and they barely rub on rare occassions. I still can't say for sure if that's because of the size or because of a rusted out core-support (that's being fixed right now actually). When it does rub its only when I'm hard-over on the wheel and hitting a significant bump and it's just a little bit. It's not significant enough to change my mind about the size wheels. The small ones don't look as good. My wheels are from a 1980 Oldsmobile Seventy Eight. I polished up the chrome pieces, blacked-out the oldsmobile emblem and painted the main part of the wheel black. They were FREE in a junk yard and they look HOT on my car. You could put smaller tires than I used. Check out my pics to see what I'm talking about. It's the blue car under 1978 Nova
