1973 Chevy nova parts

Asked by CarGuru5kslp Jan 26, 2018 at 12:18 AM about the 1973 Chevrolet Nova

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am fixing up a 1973 Chevy nova and need to replace a lot of parts. I’ve
looked on the websites classic industries, classic muscle, h&h classic, eBay,
and parts geek. I can’t find some of the parts I need like a left front fender
extension, LED single lens (red), inner glass rubbers. Also, a lot of the parts
that I am finding  seem to be overpriced  such as $128.99 for a rear bumper
filler.  I’m looking for any recommendations on where I may be able to find the
parts and any advice on how to tell whether they’re reasonably priced. I have
also been to local junkyards and auto parts shops.

Keep looking. Restoring cars is a lot of work but this is why I prefer complete cars.

It's beneficial to search for good used gm parts, clean them up and use them, I've had reproduction parts to be not 100% accurate resulting in fitment problems.

I have a 1974 Chevy Nova SS and I have found tons of parts from Summit Racing.com which actually has four locations in the US. So you might actually be close to one and save on freight shipping like myself in McDonough GA. I've also found parts on Jegs.com, electricLife.com, ProForm.com, and one of my personal favorites, ss396.com All of these websites were great pricing. Just have to bounce around to compare which had the most parts at the greatest value when you check your shopping cart at the end. And btw, each site had parts for All Nova Years from 1960s to 1979. Hope that this is some great information and more up to date than the last answers. Dec 2019 update
