2005 freestar ford leaking radiator can I add water to get it to a repair shop?

Can I add water to radiator to get it to a repair shop. The gauge does NOT
show the engine is HOT.

Your actually going to be adding it to the coolant reservoir not the radiator, but yes you can just add water till you can fix the leak.
