why does the brakes feel like they are loosing pressure?

Asked by Apr 05, 2007 at 12:29 AM about the 1992 Chevrolet Astro

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I step on the brakes, the van slows down but then it feels like the abs comes on and the van rolls forward.  I would hav to step on the pedal harder in order to stop the van.  I don't know how else to explain it.
