A/ C is not working on 1984 Chevy El Camino. Air blows out defrost vents. Is there a fuse I can check? What else do I need to check?

Vacuum supply to heater controls, vacuum control switching valve,vacuum servo motors.

There's a vacuum hose coming from the intake manifold to the climate control panel on the dash. Sounds like it's disconnected. When the system loses vacuum it defaults to defrost for safety reasons. HTH. -Jim
