Classic or not

Asked by Dniteorchid Aug 20, 2010 at 07:04 AM about the 1982 Chevrolet El Camino

Question type: General

I am trying to find out if my son's vehicle is considered a clssic or not. He has been working on the engine now for two years and keeps telling me it is not a classic.  However, I was told it has to be 25 years old and his is almost thirty.  Are there different rules when it comes to registereing a vehicle that is a classic?  Can you summarise them for me Please?  Thanks you
