How do I remove the inside door panel off my 79 el camino?

I have a 79 el camino that the passenger door won't open. I have taken off the window crank the arm rest and the door lock but still can't figure out how the door panel comes off.

You usually have to pry the panel off, as it's held on with plastic plugs. You can use a putty knife or interior plastic panel removal tool to help pry it off. Pry enough to get your fingers under it and pry gently all the way round, then when you get the bottom and sides loose, push up from the bottom to release the top as it usually sits in a groove.

Tom, as always, is bingo spot on. Only thing I can add is consider buying new plug clips before you begin,They are dirt cheap
