This car after the first two years of depreciation is a great value. Excellent technology, the handling is on par with my F type and the V8 is impressive. Lastly, I think the styling is forwarding thinking and a great GT if you dont need back seats.

Overall:

Pros: Great handling, Great acceleration for a GT car (It is not a race car however), Great luxury features, Great ride comfort. Good Fuel Economy. Negatives: Lack of Android Auto, Really Lexus? Rear seat space is not for humans, more of a 2+ Storage bench then a real 2 + 2 coupe. Tiny Trunk. Seriously the trunk needs to have 2x the space it does. Final Verdict: Good drivers sports luxury coupe (Grand Tourer) in need of improvement. Terrible as a sports car as there are faster machines at the price range, Terrible as a Car if you need occasional back seat space for people.

Awesome car in so many ways. But - the Spindle grill, while it may work better on this vehicle than most Lexuses (Is the plural Lexi??) is just plain unattractive. While i could accept that, since I ride on the inside of the car, the touch-pad interface is a deal-breaker. WAY too distracting to operate while driving. And this from an owner of 2 previous LSs and a GX.

This car is phenomenal! The looks, the performance, the sound. I often find myself sitting in my car in the garage drinking a beer and listening to Dire Straits or Steely Dan on the Mark Levinson stereo! Its just SO nice! The comfort the luxury. Its definitely my happy place! The performance is very good and will put a smile on your face. The exhaust note is tremendous at higher RPM. Its not the fastest car out there but it does perform! Im thrilled to own one. Great choice!

Front Seats Ranked 2018 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS Coupe RWD worse.
"The seat on the Camaro are nice but the Lexus exudes Luxury. The interior of the Lexus is grown up vs the Camaro. Elegant, refined like you are in a very high-end nightclub"
Value Ranked 2018 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS Coupe RWD worse.
"The Mark Levinson stereo. The exhaust note and crackle. The look is more grown-up and more supercar-like. The 21 inch wheels. The style. Its just cool!"

" Classier Ageless design, in photos, LC looks better, in person GT looks better. Design from 2007 with minor updates still feels new."
Front Seats Ranked 2018 Maserati GranTurismo Sport worse.
"More comfortable, better materials on touch point surfaces. In general LC500 has nicer interior materials. Granturismo appears to have better quality leather where leather is used."

2018 Lexus LC 500 RWD Review
Guru87JDL says:
This car wasnt on my radar, but when it showed up, nothing else mattered. I was dead set on buying the M3 (after 6 weeks of test driving and research) the LC showed up above my price range but I should be able to save in maintenance cost and heartache. I stopped by and drove it and I fell in love with the car. There isnt many on the road and it compares to any car in its class in all categories. I drove the GT500, M3, Quaddrifoglio, Stinger, DB9, XJ and traded in my W205 C63 on the LC500. The LC does a whole lot of things right and you get a car you dont see at every red light. The Quaddrifoglio was my favorite car but the dependability issues is what scared me away. The Stinger was a lot of fun too but its almost as common as the MustangGT500 and M3. The LC is plenty quick and more than enough horsepower. Most of the cars mentioned above may be a tad faster, but at the end of the day I am not a street racer. Handling: The car stays planted, stable and handles amazing. Daily driver: This car makes a great daily driver in most weather conditions. I love getting in this car everyday and driving to work and look forward to doing some road trips. Just Fing WOW! Small kids can ride in the back, not adults, so if the wife ask you to grab the kids you can still handle this task. Power: Very good power response, at cruising speeds (65mph) you can hit the gas to pass slower traffic and be in the 3 digits very quickly. I used the draggy app and was able to get consent 4.0 in 0-60 times by taking the traction control off and manual shifting, thats as good as my C63 however, the C63 would catchup with the LC quickly along with most of the other cars listed above. This car is much more conferrable than all the cars I drove during my research and is a true GT car. Oh and it sounds better than any car mentioned. Maintenance and Dependably: This played a major role in buying this car. After 2 years the M3 had an average maintenance cost of $2783 a year. The LC had a average cost of $287 a year. My C63 cost me around $1600 a year so this was a welcome sight. Also, Lexus has the best dependability rating by far out of all cars I looked at. Styling: IMO this cars looks better inside and out, Its not uncommon for people to drive by taking photos or come up to you while you are pumping gas. Driver friendly takes some time to get to know the car as theres a lot going on.

Fantastic car----high quality build, state of the art styling and probably the last high end convertible with a naturally aspirated V-8. Should return solid resale numbers down the line...... Read More

Car is luxurious, feels snug to drive, but has no guts to match its looks. Acceleration is lackluster, sound of V8 is nice but not muscular. Then again it’s a Lexus. Read More
