2018 INFINITI QX60 Overview

The 2018 INFINITI QX60 blends composed manners with upscale features and versatile three-row seating for seven.

The QX60 slots between the subcompact QX30 and full-size QX80, offering a “best-of” combination. Behind the rear seats, the QX60 has 16 cubic feet of cargo space. With the third row folded, it has 40.2 cubic feet of cargo space, and with the second and third rows folded, the QX60 boasts 76.2 cubic feet of cargo space.

The QX60 is offered in one trim and comes standard with a wealth of features, including leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a power liftgate.

Instead of different trims, the QX60 offers various options packages that buyers can add on to the base model. The Premium package adds a Bose 13-speaker premium stereo, remote start, integrated roof rails, heated steering wheel, and memory seating. A Premium Plus package ups the luxury features with enhanced voice recognition, real-time traffic and weather updates, and navigation services including lane guidance and 3-D building graphics.

As the name suggests, the Theatre Package boasts dual video screens built into the back of the front headrests. It also features dual wireless headphones, wireless remote control, HDMI port, and wall-style power outlet.

The QX60 comes equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine, making 295 horsepower and 270 pound feet of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels or available all-wheel drive (AWD) via a sport-tuned continuously variable transmission (CVT). The CVT features a D-Step function that allows it to “downshift” quickly for a more brisk acceleration.

The front-wheel drive (FWD) QX60 returns fuel economy of 20 mpg city, 27 highway, and 22 combined. The AWD model returns 19, 26, and 22.

The available Driver Assistance Package boasts intelligent safety features like adaptive cruise control, backup collision intervention, front and rear parking sensors, and blind-spot warning. The QX60 is also available with Predictive Forward Collision warning system that can detect a collision two cars ahead and warn the driver.

The QX60 features additional safety innovations like the new Rear Door Alert, reminding drivers of anything that may have been left in the rear seats.

Base MSRP for the 2018 INFINITI QX60 is $43,300. An AWD model starts at $45,100. The Driver Assistance Package adds, $1,850, the Theater Package adds $2,150, the Premium Package adds $1,800, and the Premium Plus Package adds $2,900. The 20-inch wheel and tire package adds $1,000 to the price while the bristling Deluxe Technology Package adds $7,300. These packages turns a well equipped luxury SUV into a high-end family hauler with a wealth of features.
