2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C 250 LuxuryReview
A Weak, Confused, & Lower End Version Of The E-class — This car is that one kid who is trying really hard at being one of the rich popular kids in High-school. It wears its logo's with a sense of pride that it simply cannot back up. Not only that, this car is in a perpetual State between sport and luxury. Seen by its overly loud turbo sounds when using auto-manual mode, and the very existence of this mode suggests a car that is fun to drive fast and take control of. However the car is quick to remind you of its attempt at luxury with its slow response time in the auto-manual mode, and its constant need to reach for higher gears and its refusal to allow controlled slides. Overall this car is a significant disappointment if one intends to have it for many years. But for a car to have for a year or 2 in order to see what you might want out of your future Mercedes it is perfect. Pros: It is technically a Benz so you receive the bear minimum of the luxuries one is to expect Cons: Its power is pathetic for is weight, the features feel as if it is the bottom of what Mercedes makes, there is potentially fatal understeer at speeds the car should be more than capable of, it sounds more aggressive than what it is capable of, in any higher end area it appears average at best. |
