The 2014 Lexus GS 350 has a sport but luxury feel and a clean modern look. It has power and hugs the curves well. I would recommend this vehicle if you like aggressive and power.

Nice car all the way around. 8 speed transmission is very smooth. The F-Sport was certainly more sporty. Also rear wheel drive and all wheel drive available. Great fun all around sporty sedan with Lexus/Toyota reliablity. Slight differences with Avalon make it a bit harder for apples to apples comparison.

Back Seats Ranked 2014 Toyota Avalon better.
"The Avalon had more room for back seat passengers even though the Lexus has a smaller trunk"
Would Buy Ranked 2014 Toyota Avalon better.
"Similar cars in many ways since Toyota makes Lexus. Even though I am unhappy with the Avalon, Lexus is not worth the extra $20K."

This Car Is My Favorite Of The 22 I've Had! —

The 2014 GS F-Sport is amazing!! I bought this car over the 2014 E-class, 2014 Q50S/Q50S Hybrid and A6 due to a combination of looks, performance, comfort and price. Looks were close when compared to the Infiniti, which has nearly the same front end and the Audi, which I've always been a huge fan of. But the Ultra White w/ the Cabernet interior was to nice to compare. Performance was also very similar to the Infiniti (the Infiniti's hybrid model actually slightly out accelerated the Lexus to be honest) but i wasn't in the market for a race car. Comfort wise, the E-class was the only one that came close and that was due to the optional $650 massaging, road sensing automatically adjusting seat (which was amazing by the way and soooo worth the extra cost). Pricing was the final push. The 24 mo. lease deal that my dealership was offering was just too good to pass up. Ride and build quality is right there with the Mercedes in my opinion and similarly optioned, the Lexus is $6-8K cheaper. The only slight "con" I can list is that the infotainment system (with "mouse like" interface instead of touchscreen) takes a little getting used to. Once you do though, it becomes second nature and the best part is, you don't have to keep cleaning finger prints off of your touch screen! In all honesty, you can't go wrong with any of these cars but for me, the Lexus was the next chapter in my 4 wheel novel.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks, comfort, build quality, quiet cabin, ride quality, acceleration/handling in Sport or Sport+ modes.

Cons: Infotainment system takes some time to master.

Lindsey says:
Love everything about this car. The quiet of the cabin, the dynamics, the ergos, the looks. Subtle but strong. The chassis likes to be pushed and pushed much harder than youd anticipate. Reason it isnt a 15 or 16? The transmission, the 8 speed just doesnt flow as nicely as the 6. + for the sound at the top end. + for the lexus quality, it is really hard to beat. + for absolutely no cabin plastic.
