2014 Audi Q5 User Reviews

This car has an insane amount of features. It drives so well it could turn on a dime. I had a Lexus RX400h prior to this car and while I loved that car it was very bulky and heavy so it was harder to stop and didnt turn nearly as tight as the Audi. The Audis MMI features are great, the way that it is laid out with the all of the media controls being on the steering wheel and right next to the gear shift makes it so easy to use without taking your eyes off the road. It also allows you to see your GPS route, media, and telephone on the dashboard in the middle of your RPMS and MPHs which makes it super simple to use. You can also insert two SD cards at once and import your media onto the cars hard drive which is great. The car sounds amazing when accelerating and has some ok power behind it. The manual automatic shifting is fun to use and allows you to accelerate way faster IMO but it is somewhat pointless other than to have some fun!

Surprised it doesnt have backup camera or gps nav system

Audi Q5 Rental — I used this car as a rental while overseas. It had decent power once you were moving but offered little from a stand still. It came with typical Audi features such as Radio, Nav, USB input but I struggled to figure them all out, probably because I'm not quite fluent in German. It was extremely comfortable for 4 people and luggage. Reached a top speed of 138mph, very good for a car of its size. Better still it managed 26mpg while do 100+mph. Handling was also great. I opted to take the mountain pass whenever it was an option over a cable car. The Q5 was stable and always asking for more through the corners! All in all it was a great rental vehicle but due to the upfront cost and the cost to own I'm not sure I'd get one, but if I had the money I think it would make an excellent car.
