Fun To Drive — Sporty and Fun, very quick, has a sport mode. The handling of this car is phenomenal. Fuel efficient. Great for everyday driving and/or weekend get away car with your loved one. It is a great little car for a car enthusiast.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great handling, economical, fun, tons of options.

Cons: Obviously, the cargo area is small...

A Super Fun Car — I've loved driving this car. It's super cute and zips around town quickly and easily. It's loaded with heated seats, automatic transmission, dual paned sunroof, bluetooth, great surround sound and the back seats drop to make more space for transporting items.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This is such a fun car. It's so cute and zips around town so quickly

Cons: It's very small and difficult to transport anything of any measurable size in

My Dream Car — I absolutely love this thing - I rented the car when on vacation (road trip). With no previous intention to, within two weeks, I traded in my car for a 2013 Mini Hardtop (Base model). I have never looked back since!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Power, handling (like a go-cart), gas mileage (600 miles per tank), interior and exterior design,

Cons: Relatively high cost of maintenance when needed (BMW/ Mini parts only), limited back seat and trunk space, Turbo (S model) rumored to have more issues

Fun, Small Car For City Or Road Driving. — This is a small, very fun car. I needed to be able to fit in a very small garage space and drive up and down the hills of San Francisco to get to work. This car is easy to find parking, fun to drive, and gets good gas mileage. I've been able to get as high as 40 MPG on the highway. The power is good enough to get up most hills in 2nd gear. As for cons, because this car is a convertible, there are severe blind spots when the top is up. Another con: my teenage daughter doesn't like riding in the backseat for long periods of time. Overall, I really like this car for commuting and taking road trips with 1-2 people.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun, easy to find parking for, drives well.  Excellent car for road trips with the wife, or taking the kids to soccer games.  Gets great gas mileage.  The price was excellent.

Cons: Large blind spots, not much leg room in the backseat for adults.

Fun Little Car — I wanted a fun, little car for my commutes into NYC. It had to be comfortable and fun to drive, and nice enough for me to enjoy many hours at a time in it. After one test drive in the Mini I was sold. I went with the base model (not turbocharged) and it's definitely a blast to drive. What I like about the non-turbo model is I can still drive it like I'm at Le Mans without ever reaching dangerous, ticket-inducing speeds. When shifted properly the base 4 cylinder has quite a bit of pep and lots of fun factor. The road noise is prominent so the radio needs to be turned up a bit to hear clearly. The ride is a tad on the harsh side when going over potholes in the city, but that's to be expected from such a firmly planted, sporty machine with low profile runflat tires. This is a very fun car and the cons are far outweighed by the pros.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The interior makes you feel like James Bond.

Cons: My wife makes fun of me for driving a Mini.

Fantastic Handling Little Car — My wife bought this brand new after selling her previous Cooper S Works (JCW). It doesn't have that great supercharged whine, but is economical and a great drive. This car came with 3 years free servicing, tire and bodywork warranty, so just fuel to pay for.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Stylish car that really holds it value.

Cons: Cargo space is tiny. This is really a for commuting and fun rather than road trips

My Favorite To Date! — Let's start with "the most fun I've ever had both buying and driving"! Period. You can build your custom MINI and track it from the start of production to the transatlantic cruise right to the dealer arrival. It's mine... I built it... I love it and I drive the wheels off it!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fast!  Sporty handling and 30ish MPG... what?? really?? Yep.  This is the first vehicle I've owned that literally makes me smile every time I mash the pedal down(guilt free... see MPGs).  Boot to Bonnet maintenance for three years... $0 for normal care... I'm in! Pure care free fun!

Cons: Stiff ride that in-laws nor parents enjoy... wait... move to pros!  Premium fuel requirement.

2013 MINI Cooper Review
I have driven all 4 in all sorts of conditions, and the MINI was the hands down winner! It trumps all in the fit and finish category as well as safety and handling, and is surprisingly comfortable on long trips. Economy is great, and this car is very stable even in heavy rain and high winds! I LOVE my MINI!
