Ford Focus - If You Like Quick, This Is It. — I don't dislike anything about this vehicle. I will keep you updated. I have some issues with the CVT transmission, but only because this is my first vehicle with this type of drivetrain. I find it feels as thought it is slipping and over-revving, but I can't pin point it yet. The car sounds good too. I never thought an Inline-4 could be so beautiful.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Driving this you would never know there is a 2.0L - 4 Cylinder engine. The car goes, and goes quick. The handling is superb and drives like a race car. It hugs the road really well, and I have never been so impressed by a Ford product.

Cons: None yet.

I Would Buy One — When my Regal was stolen, the insurance gave me this as a rental, that I really didn't need but it was a free car to drive until I got my settlement from the insurance. It is actually quite fun to drive compared to my Corolla, and I have never driven a car with all the GPS, bluetooth, and many things I never did figure out how to use. I am writing this review to compare it with my Corolla, and end of story is I would buy one if I could afford it. equal excellent mileage, more comfortable driver's seat and even though I did say a bit under powered, it has more get up and go than my Corolla, but it will not hold it's re sale value as well

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: gas mileage, got over 38mpg, comfortable good visibility

Cons: a little underpowered but I had the smallest engine offered that year

Its a fun car! The handling and speed are great, but you sacrifice the better gas mileage for the hp. The space in the back seat and cargo area was better than the Rio5 I ended up getting, but it all came down to the better gas mileage so I went with the Rio. If your looking for a car thats got some pep and army shy about losing a few mpg in doing so, the focus is your car!

Great car for the money. Handles great and peppy enough for the average driver. Manual transmission means you can drive it with spirit while getting great gas milage and not suffering the painful insurance premiums of the pocket rocket ST.

The looks of this car was very nice especially inside. Would only have the titanium, tho. This car had transmission problems that the dealer knew about and never could resolve. Ford would not work with me so I changed to Honda

2013 Ford Focus ST Review
says:
Me and my wife needed a family car. She wanted room for strollers and carseats, and being the gearhead I am, needed power. I drove a 2007 Yaris hatchback with a manual for 6 years and it loved it. Once I had a baby, it was a no brainer that I needed more room. My Yaris had a complete suspension and plenty of mods to make it quite fun on the quirky roads where we live. I wanted that same feeling with maybe some more power and of course room. My decisions came to Ford with their ST line. The Fiesta and Focus ST both sport turbocharged ecoboost engines that have plenty of power for my side. However the cargo room and seating in the focus were just so much better. So we looked at a Fiesta ST and the Focus ST. The Focus ST handles extremely well and the Turbocharged 2.0 Ecoboost definitely wont leave you in a state of wanting more power. After a couple weeks the Focus still has that scare factor that gets your heart thumping with exhilaration. The suspension (while much rougher than the standard models of Focus) is very responsive to input and handle the tightest of turns. Paired with 18 performance tires the car will surprise you on every turn, then thrill you coming onto the straight away. Ever got that drop in your stomach when passing someone because you werent sure youd make it before whatever is coming next? That goes away when you feel the turbo really push the boost into the 2.0. Its 0-60 time is rated in the 6.x second range. What is really surprising is the 20-60 and even the 40-80 ranges. Truth is, if youre in need of a family vehicle but need that sporty side of things, you have to test drive the Focus ST. All the room of the normal hatchback with quite a surprise under the hood for that gearhead in all of us.

Handling Ranked 2015 Ford Fiesta ST better.
"The Fiesta ST is a smaller and lighter car. With very similar built suspensions, the Fiesta ST holds the turns better than the Focus ST."
Looks/Style Ranked 2015 Ford Fiesta ST worse.
"The Styling of the Focus ST sets it out among those who know the different models. Its not represented as a tuner car as some other models out there. However, its a very appealing look that sticks out to the minority but blends in with the crowd of others out there. Its a sleeper in a group of cars and doesnt attract unwanted attention unless your foot makes it do so. The Fiesta ST on the other hand, easily distinguishable compared to its N/A siblings but its much more open aerodynamics kit and wheels. It doesnt look like your normal Fiesta."
