Great All Around Car With Great Gas Mileage And All Wheel Drive !!! — Like i said it is a very solid feeling ride not like a Toyota where the wheel feels to light and Flimzy, the Car feels very well planted as well as safe in types of driving. If you ever go to the Snow you dont need chains I got a chance to try this out the 1st day I had off of work after getting this car We went to moutain High and Highway Patrol was pulling all these cars over including larger SUV's and they just flaged me to go past them it was like having VIP access !!!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very safe vehicle, Top safety Pick by the Insurance Intitute of highway Safety, All Wheel Drive with great Gas Mileage. Solid Feeling Car. The back-up Camera on the Rear View Mirror is Awesome. The reclining rear Seats are So comfortable on Long Rides !!! Just an All around Fun Driving Car !!!

Cons: I want the one with Leather, and the upgraded Sound system so thats why I am selling this !!!

2012 Outback — Better gas mileage, Subaru AWD system, Boxer engine. The 2.5i accelerates well - we don't feel like we need the larger 3.6i engine. Braking and handling are also good. Car seems to be safe - has many safety features other vehicles do not. Will add more comments after more experience with the vehicle.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Good looking, good performing vehicle.  Have yet to experience snow/ice with this AWD vehicle.   So far we are getting 27.6 MPG average with Ethanol blended fuel.

Cons: Too new to develop opinions on downsides of this vehicle.

2012 Outback Ltd 2.5: Incredible Value, Great Awd Car — You simply cant beat the quality and value of these AWD's! Safe, reliable, and comfortable...and absolute snow killers! This Outback goes anywhere...almost as good as my Suburban and twice the mileage/gallon! After extensive shopping this is hands down best value AWD ! Only real criticism is the stock tires are fine for summer, but are horrible in the snow...a car of this capability and reputaion in the snow should come with a far better winter capable AT. We run snows up here, but that surprise storm that caught us on stocks was baaad! I would recommend the Outback to anyone...just insist on snows or an all season upgrade!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Looks, room, comfort,  mpg, CVT, value, and unbelievable back seat leg room!  6'7" and can sit behind a fully back front seat!

Cons: Getting one...you order, and wait!  And the Continental All Seasons that come stock are absolutely awful in real snow/ice...unacceptable for a car with a well earned rep as a winter warrior!!

2012 Subaru Outback 2.5i Review
GuruB323H says:
I feel very safe in this car, especially in rainy conditions. Love all the cargo space and the seats. I have no complaints there. I have had to put in 2 clutches already (I’m at 110,000 miles) and the car isn’t driving smoothly. So that’s disappointing. Because of the all-wheel drive, the ride is not so smooth.
