If I Buy Another Sedan There Is No Doubt I Will Buy Sonata Again. — Super gas mileage. It coasts a lot. 6 speed trans is nice. Very quiet inside. XM too:) Feels waaay light. Trunk is ok. Lower profile with alloys was worth it. Looks expensive. I average 28-29 but I live in a city with a lot of grade(hill). I will buy again, and again. 260,000 on my Elantra:) I am 6'2" and the back seat is very nice. I bought the carry my son because he will be over 6'. Funny side note: Koreans refer to Japanese as the lazy people.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Best car ever!  Feels light, are the tires filled with helium?

Cons: My black carpet always looks dirty:(

Car Is Flawed. Dealer/factory Refused To Fix Obvious Problems. — The car was very close to being a very nice vehicle. I still do not understand why the factory refused to fix obvious problems and would not even return my phone calls until I filed a lemon law complaint. Be VERY CAREFUL about buying a Hyundai.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nice looking car.  Offered many nice features at a resonable price.  Comefortable to sit in.

Cons: Terrible factory support on warrantee issues.  Car continuously pulls to the right - dealer cannot fix.  Radio dims to unusable level if instrument lights set below half intensity.  Fixed by removing dimming feature on radio - now always full intensity.  Defroster does not shut off - hot air continuously blowing in your face in cold weather.  Hyundai refused to fix - too expensive.  Hundai factory rep did not return numerous phone calls to discuss the problems.  I had to file a lemon law complaint to get any response at all.  Will NEVER even consider another Hyndai.  Too bad.  They turned a new customer into a lifelong disgruntled former customer in 6 short months.

Overly Suprised And Impressed — With the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited 2.0T, you soooo much car for the money. The 4 cyl acceleration with the turbo is VERY responsive. This car is what I would call a smart man's Lexus. This Sonata (Limited) is a very classy looking car that I am proud to park next to my snob friends.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks, Comfort, Afforability, Responsive

Cons: So far, the ONLY thing I see is that the passenger seat is not powered.

Luxury Car Feel Without Luxury Car Price — This car can handle like a sports car if you need it to but as an older married guy with a family I enjoyed the comfortable ride in a car that keep my family safe. It has tons of storage capacity as well and the rear seats fold down it you need that extra space. Be careful when driving this car, it is easy to go over the speed limit without noticing it as the ride is very quiet and smooth.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great handling car, luxury car ammenities, great mpg, dual climate control keeps me and wife comfortable.

Cons: Although the paddle shifters are fun to use occasionally with the turbo charger it is not really an item you will get much use from in a family car

I Love The Spaciousness Of This Car. — I really enjoy using this car, however so does a large population of others. I hate it when I go out in any given parking lot and see a bunch of sonatas all with my same or similar colors. Thank goodness I opted for the dealer spoiler installed, really makes a difference. For those that just want to fit in and fit a family most comfortably, from a sedan perspective, this is the car for you.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Spacious.  Affordable.
Turbo adds much needed torque.  Best Navigation System I've used!!!!

Cons: Turbo puts this car way above the non-turbo models.  So what if you loose a few MPGs for the ability to beat the average car from the line!

Power Ranked 2012 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SR better.
"Although the Sonata makes more power, it certainly doesnt act like it. The Continuously Variable Transmission in the Sentra makes it feel much power. It learns your driving techniques and if you have a lead-foot then the transmission will do its best to grant you that. Just remember these are 140 hp cars. "
Handling Ranked 2012 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SR better.
"Handling in the Sentra is just a lot more responsive than the Sonata, could be the shorter wheel space, but the car also coasts very straight."
Looks/Style Ranked 2012 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SR better.
"The Sentra just has a more sportier look overall."
Back Seats Ranked 2012 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SR worse.
"The Sentra is a compact sedan, so the back seats arent real spacious. The sonata has it beat there."
Value Ranked 2012 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SR better.
"The sonata has suffered recalls and many issues. My Sentra had no recalls, and has 100k+ and is still going strong."
Would Buy Ranked 2012 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SR better.
"I love this car and have enjoyed owning it. I would buy it over the sonata purely because of the looks, performance, and gas mileage."
