Excellent — Easy to drive;great gas mileage;no mechanical issues at all; easy to get in and out of this vehicle,no stepping up or feeling like you are sitting on the ground and have to climb out of vehicle; quite, minimal to no road noise

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This is a great gas saver vehicle. I get 25 driving in town and 28 on long trips out on the highway; handles great, good visibility from vehicle,

Cons: None

Family Car — I like the features on the inside, the remote start and power lift gate, dislike the lack of ruggedness. This is a great alternative to a mini van or car but not really an suv more crossover vehicle. As long as the is what you are looking for you will be pleased. I owned a jeep wrangler befor this so that was hard to get over the differences.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Car with suv space

Cons: Low to the ground

Over All This Vehicle Is Just All Around Great. — I Love this car because it is over all just safe for my family, we drove it in to a ditch going 60mph to avoid a head on crash, and nothing big happend to the vehicle, I love this car for it's safety. I would recommend this vehicle for any one that would want to feel very safe with their vehicle.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fuel economy is amazing, The size is just right for a 4 member family like mine. The look is unique.

Cons: The cargo area is a bit small.

A Reliable, Safe, Fuel Efficient, Terrific Family Vehicle! — I love the 32mpg highway, being surrounded by safety, and the looks I get in this sharp Terrain. The sound system is excellent (Pioneer), they have improved vision (larger rear view camera screen and blind spot mirrors), and the autostart and heated seats are perfect for those cold mornings! If you are thinking about one, I highly recommend one (this is my second).

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: great fuel economy, nice options, very safe vehicle, and reasonable pricing!

Cons: none

Solid Family Suv Without Suv Gas Mileage — Great All round SUV. Interior is well put together and has a premium feel. The 4 Cylinder has very adequate performance and V6 is great if you plan to tow or drive lots of highway KM's. Appearance is personal preference. Adds great value to compact SUV Segment and is a value leader.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Easy to drive, back up camera.

Cons: Looks like a truck.

Great Compact Suv If You Want To Save Gas And Have Lots Of Standard Safety Equipment. — The 2012 GMC Terrain SLT-1 FWD 2.4 Is a pleasant vehicle for those wanting to haul their family and save some gas while doing it. This utility vehicle drives like a car. Front hood bulges a little in the corners giving it a truck feel. The 2.4L seems adequate for daily commuting although if towing and frequent highway driving is what you do go for the v6. Seats are comfortable and supportive. The leather is soft to the touch and the heated seats are nice. The SLE-2 + Pioneer audio system is great and has good bass. No rattles or squeaks, interior is well built. The interior is quiet at speed. Lots of rear leg room! Overall a strong contender in the compact suv segment.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Drives like a car, rides like a car, SUV Space, standard blind spot mirrors and back up camera, touch screen standard, rear legroom

Cons: Thick rear pillars, truck like view from driver seat

The 2012 GMC is a great ride, wonderful suspension, seats comfortable for long trips. holds one med/lge dog crate with no problem. Not a family car for long trips but for seniors and singles this is a super car.
