Great Commuter/family Car - As Good Or Better Than The Reviews — i downgraded from a much more expensive diesel-turbo car because of my commute. The car offers quite a few technology features including My Ford Sync. i love the "Alert" option with the satellite radio - tag the artist or song and you will be notified when something is playing. The voice commands work pretty well and if it doesn't understand exactly, it will display a list for you to choose from. i just can't get used to the automatic. other than that, it's a great car and the metallic white adds a nice sparkle!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Rear seats fold down giving you tons of cargo space.  Cheap to own, Great MPG.

Cons: touch screen shows fingerprints pretty badly.   i don't care for a 4-cyl auto - i prefer a manual transission.

Great Family Car. 4 Out Of 5 Stars — very beautiful car. great to drive, but very low. car was 12 months old when the clutch master cylinder went.not great, but was repaired in 2 days. brilliant space in the cabin, but not great in height. im 6ft 6inch so its hard to find a car that is. 1.6 diesel engine pulls well over 1500 revs but lacks true power. great internal equipment for the price, and an average of 43mpg not great on economy but not like the 19mpg we got from the ford mondeo 2.3l. overall a great family car and very well equipped. but if you need the power. go for the petrol engine or the 2 litre

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: spacious, stylish and well equiped

Cons: lack in power below 1500 revs and fuel eficiency

Great For Flat-towing — Dependable and nimble, good on gas, and with enough power to easily keep up on the highway, this little Ford isn't posh, but it goes where 34' motor homes fear to tread. All the good things you've heard about this little hatchback are true!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Good power, good agility, all the bells and whistles.

Cons: A little cramped, seats could use some more padding.

Jerky Trans, Euro Feel — Automatic transmission is very jerky. Power is adequate. Comfort is so so. Very smooth manual transmission option available. Ford Sync and My Ford Touch difficult to use and not intuitive. Car is fairly agile. Check all your options carefully in this extremely competitive market.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Power, handling, brakes

Cons: Very Jerky Auto Trans

Perfect Commuter Car — This car is perfect for my commute between Baltimore and Washington. It gets great gas mileage, its comfy, and is very reliable. The acceleration leaves a lot to be desired but, its fine for my gridlocked commute. Love SYNC and the ability to stream Pandora.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Love the gas mileage

Cons: Not the best pick-up

Great Daily Driver — Fuel mileage is the best part, the car looks good and performs well for what it is. has all kinds of options you can get. but the price can get out of hand in a hurry i priced one on ford.com and had it over 29k which is stupid money for a focus. the ride is nice minimal wind noise. the transmission is a manual but its automatic shift so that takes some gettin used to i had issues with mine not shifting right at low speeds up hill but a reprogram took care of that. overall is great

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: great fuel mileage. love the interior layout and look, sync is awesome, sony sound package and touch screen is a must have

Cons: its a small car not tons of room thats to be expected though.

Best Focus I Have Driven So Far — I didn't have much choice in the Focus. I needed something for work and school since I got into a wreck with my other car. It's very basic, but is still a pretty nice little car. I am giving it to my girlfriend though.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive, Great on gas, Has a little bit of power for a basic I4

Cons: Auto Trans is very weird when shifting at times. I sometimes have to let go of the gas just to get it to shift
