2011 Subaru Forester 2.5 X PremiumReview
Good Car — Like most in this car. Personally, I have taken for a test drive a few Subarus at the dealership. The new 2014 are great feel but NOT at all different from 2011 and I like the interior accessories MUCH MORE in 2011. As for the variable engine in the new Subaru, I can;t make a judgment sins I am not knowledgeable enough:) However, my sport shift option is great. It is not a turbo version, which has it's pros and cons in terms of necessity, price, service and costs. I find new mirrors lighting in the 2014 are destructing more than useful, but like the fact that they have a heated exterior heating option. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Great for city driving, reliable in terms of traction in wet/snow pavement, enough to do groceries and move mid size loads, grate visibility, sitting for the driver, good for singles, couples and small families. Sport shiftier, drives like SUV, but a bit better gas millage. To fill up your tank is around $40 I like it much better than my Toyota Corolla LE 2001 in terms of handling but sure you can't compare gas usage:) Cons: Started having minor issues at 38.000 miles Power steering fluid leaks and for some reason problem changing my oil. Not sure if that isa car issue or dealership issue yet. About to figure it out and will let you all now! |

2011 Subaru Forester 2.5 X LimitedReview
Love My Subaru — First time Subaru owner and loved it; we received great advice/support from Associated Sales in Marshfield and Kocourek in Schofield. This car was used for daily commuting and we never had a backache. We were able to use the back to haul car parts and our dogs very comfortably. Highly recommend this car. Please test drive and see for yourself!!! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Excellent handling car in all weather and road conditions!! Power everything, nice speakers for Sirius Satellite Radio! The sun roof is awesome. Cons: Windshield replaced chip turned into a crack. |

More Than I Expected — Roomy front row with an intuitive layout of dash. Back seat is a little tight for adults but great for kids. Much larger cargo ability than I first thought - much better than similar models! Feel extremely save driving the vehicle - especially in snow/ice! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Great handling, as expected. Cargo area is the next best thing to having a pick-up! Cons: Give up MPG for AWD. |

Subaru Really Is Love — Subaru professes that LOVE is a Subaru. A few minutes driving this small SUV will convince you of that. The Subaru Forester has the quiet, comfortable ride of a larger car; the quickness and agility of a sports sedan; and the ability to go almost anywhere with its all-time, all-wheel drive. Combined with its reputation for durability and longevity, your Forester should provide years of solid, reliable service. Great fit/finish, solid feel to all moving parts and good selection of interior fabrics/colors give this small subie a refined look. Whether driving up to the country club entrance or plowing through sand on the beach, the Forester looks and feels the part of a more expensive vehicle. Take it from a Honda CRV owner, Subaru makes a better Honda than Honda. Love the subie and it will love you back. Pros: Impressive acceleration; easy handling; Interstate speeds cruising with ease; quiet on most paved road surfaces; easily navigate through sugar sand; good manners on wet roads and through puddles; irons out "washboard" surfaces and small potholes on unpaved streets; numerous cubbys and storage areas; good options selections; expansive sun/moon roof Cons: passenger seat needed to sit higher (corrected in 2012 models); styling is a problem for some; 5/6 speed automatic transmission needed for better gas mileage and improved performance |

Give It A Test Drive And You'll Love It. — A great small SUV made better. Engine redesigned and is more zippy. Same power at lower RPM and more torque so it gets up and jams. New cloth pattern looks great and has a nice nubby feel. The radio has some extra features as well, haven't quite figured them all out. Runs quieter than the 2010 model. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Same reliability Cons: Still looking for something wrong |

This car had more features than the outback I test drove. It is smaller than the outback which is better for me. The outback was not like a bus. In my opinion all Subarus are great reliable cars. However, the Forester fit my needs and likes. I was able to handle it better than the larger Outback and the price wasnt great and it came with the features I was looking for in a car. vs2014 Subaru Outback 2.5i

"I like the capacity and all the hidey spots it has in the cargo the Touring seems like they took out all the hidey compartments which sucks cause i could hide extra bottle water and emergency stuff in these compartments and still have room for luggage. "

"i think it has more room, leg room is a must for my family and the front seat and the back seat you can seat 2 full grown adults that are 6 foot + in the back seat and they have enough room to be comfortable instead of their knees to their chest. " |
