If I Were Not Such A Car Snob It Would Be Great; However, I Am A Car Snob... — Beautiful looking, attractive car. Ride is okay, handling is a bit challenging. Other heavy imports are better on curves. Shifting in full auto leaves a bit to be desired. I get a lot of compliments on the car. Nothing sexier on the road today. Pros: Very cool looking Cons: Roof issues, recalled and fixed. |

Proper Cat! :) — I used this car for business, I am an executive chauffeur and this car looks the part for the job! I get a lot of excited comments equally from my customers as well as from passers-by. The new 2011 sleek design and unusual lines it this category makes it stand out from the crowd like nuffing else. Interior is typically 'Jagur-ish' nothing too fancy, nothing too ordinary, again just enough to tastefully stand out. Great dvd display, excellent sound system. 280 bhp + 600(!)Nm speaks for itself. This car drives and handles like a GTi car, you don't feel the size of it from the inside at all! It can be challenging to park thou, mine had only rear park sensors. The breaks are very good, perhaps even too good, it takes some getting used to their edginess and how quickly they react... Build quality lets the car down big time in my opinion, my car had lots of squeaks and rattles inside, mostly from the back seats and sun roof area. If they could focus on eliminating those this could be a really nice car to own, but until then it is nowhere near a German car like MB or BMW. One time the power steering bottle came loose (!) starving the pump of fluid and nearly damaging it. Turned out to be a quick fix, nevertheless it seems that this area needs addressing as this could be a nasty surprise when power steering stops working half-way through a corner. Pretty thirsty, I only managed some 23-25mpg on congested London streets, but its quite good on the motorway. Aluminium body reduces the cars weight to just some 1800kg so if you have a gentle right foot I'm sure you can top me up easily on the other hand if your foot is as heavy as mine you might even get less mpg out of it. As I mentioned earlier, this car is an absolute dream to drive. Pneumatic fully computerised suspension does all the hard work for you, you can choose normal, dynamic or winter mode. When you switch it into Dynamic mode, the dials start glowing RED everything sharpens up and tightens nicely. You can additionally select the S mode on the gearbox which alters the maps for the computer to change gears al higher rpm, makes the car more responsive etc. You can also change gears manually via. paddle-shift on the steering wheel at any time (loads of fun but only in S mode they react as they should, other modes generate some considerable delay). Winter mode came in handy when it snowed few weeks ago. In normal settings the car hardly moved, the esp computer was going crazy, preventing whhels from spinning it generated no traction or enough grip to get it moving. After selecting winter mode the car changed its settings (noticeably different gearing and different torque level used) and just carried on as it normally would, great stuff. Not enough snow in England though to test this properly thou. All in all a really wonderfully designed car with a little character. If you can forgive him some of his minor faults you should be really pleased with it, esp. when you notice all the looks it gets when you drive it :) Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) Pros: Excellent driving machine, handles like a GTI, 600Nm of torque, stunning looks Cons: Build quality, needs German build quality to compete with its German rivals |

Limo On Steroids — I have had the privileged of driving many luxury cars. BMW's, Benz, and Jaguars. This car is superior in every way to its predecessors and to its competition. It sets the bar very high for the next generation of luxury performance autos. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Exquisite interior, superb engines, supple ride, nimble for its class, strong value for a luxury car. Cons: fiddly touchscreen controls |
