2011 Honda Odyssey Touring Family Luxury — it's a great family, traveling, mini-home. haha! I don't know what else to say - it looks pretty good for a mini van. it drives OK, but takes right turns kind of stiffly. the brakes wear out quickly. that's it. This website continues to say I have not written 40 words for this review. So Weird!!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: good, solid, family van

Cons: honda odyssey has had a history of transmission problems and I have had those problems with both my 1999 and my 2011 models

Excellent Family Vehicle — A genuine "grocery getter". Passenger and cargo space are almost double that of the GMC Yukon we owned previously. The fuel mileage is so great that you begin to wonder if the fuel gauge actually works after a week of driving!!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The best vehicle available for family transportation.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind

Efficient — If you are looking for a comfortable, reliable family vehicle, please give this one a serious look. We found it to have a bit more room compared to the SUV. The rear view camera was helpful when backing up and prevented accidents. The fuel efficiency was good and maintenance costs were fairly inexpensive.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This mini-van is a huge asset to our family of 5.  We purchased it mainly to take the kids on family trips and various school related activities.  The vehicle is comfortable, reliable and performed well on long road trips.

Cons: While our 6 cylinder suited our needs, it would have been nice to have an 8 cylinder at times to have more pep in passing vehicles when needed.  Also, it could have used more power outlets to charge games/phones.

My Favorite Of The Minivans Out Now — Handles better than the competing minivans, Interior nicer than everything except the Quest. Exterior a little controversial but it grows on you, like it in black the best as it hides the many non body color elements in the design, I feel it looks more cohesive. Few recalls/TSB's but nothing major.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: huge/handles well, nice gadgets

Cons: could be a little more powerful

A 5 Stars Rating Minivan!!! — It's a great minivan - I give it a 5 stars ratings in my book!!!! It runs & handling great. It's better than a 4x4 for the car repairs - a lot cheaper! It's great on long drives & it has good pep to the engine.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Lots of space!!

Cons: The Price!!!!

Best Van Period — This is the best minivan on the market. We used it to move and fit a couch inside with the tailgate closed completely. 3 child seats fit across the second row in EX and above trim levels thanks to the "wide mode" seating position. It is comfortable, smooth, and fits anything and anybody. It also looks really good for a minivan.

Pros: If you are looking for a family vehicle this is it.  Get over the "I don't want a minivan" garbage. SUVs have less space and fuel economy.

Cons: I hate the cost but well worth it.

Very Practical For Large And Active Families — The Odyssey is a great choice for a 'mini' van. It is extremely large and spacious and will hold 7 people pretty comfortably. Seating configurations are flexible to accommodate our needs on a given day. When we are not transferring people, the cargo space is very large for home project supplies. The interior finishes are nice. The leather is easy to keep clean and wears very well. lots of audio options for back-seat entertainment and separate cooling. It is not the most stylish car on the road, but no minivan is. All in all, if you need the space & features that a high end mini van offers; this is an excellent choice.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Highly reliable family car. Lots of space for kids and stuff.  Automatic sliding doors are fantastic.

Cons: It is a big car.

2011 Honda Odyssey Ex Res — By far the best Odyssey yet for comfort and fuel milage. Build quality is solid and the safety ratings are stand alone in this market. Back up camara is a welcome addition as it greatly simplifies parking. Fun factor is still there with a solid but not intrusive growl from engine under load and it still goes were you point it. Rear entertainment system is an awesome add on and it also includes an inverter with a 115v ac plug for game controllers or a laptop. The DVD player will play media in AVI format and the CD player accepts MP3 files as well. There is a USB connection for uploading personal pictures to the home screen,a nice feature. When on vacation we towed our trailer on a trip for about 500 miles and we got fuel milage simmilar to our 2007 Odyssey without a trailer. I am still extremely impressed with the comfort of this van. I would buy this van again in a heartbeat.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fuel milage is an eye opener.

Cons: Under Passenger seat glove box not there anymore.
