The 2011 Honda Civic Coupe LX adds a CD/MP3 player with a digital media connection to the Civic Coupe DX's equipment, and the power features get a boost as well. Doors, mirrors, and remote keyless entry join the power windows here, and you’ll also get air conditioning and cruise control. Wheels are bumped up to 16 inches, but it’s still powered by the same 1.8-liter/five-speed combo – your choice of manual or automatic. Front cloth bucket seats offer height adjustment for the driver, and a tilt and telescoping steering wheel helps find the perfect position. There’s a defogger for the rear glass so you’ll always see the “sporty” rear spoiler, and a center console has been added for convenience. Six standard airbags are included here, as well as antilock brakes and a tire pressure monitor.

The EX trim of the 2011 Honda Civic Coupe adds a power sunroof to the window, door, and mirror power package, not to mention remote keyless entry. The CD/MP3 player gets upgraded with an iPod adapter and auxiliary controls on the tilt and telescoping steering wheel. Cloth front bucket seats and a split-folding rear lack power, but the driver gets height-adjustability. There’s a center console, cruise control, tachometer, and an outside-temperature indicator. Another big upgrade here is 16-inch alloys, finally losing the covers and making for a better match for the rear spoiler. Four-wheel antilock brakes stand as a foil to the 1.8-liter engine, which is mated to a choice of a five-speed manual or automatic transmission. Final safety features include a tire pressure monitor and dual front, front-side, and curtain-side airbags.

Traction and stability control finally make an appearance in the EX-L trim of the 2011 Honda Civic Coupe, omissions from the lower trim levels that are becoming increasingly unacceptable as the years roll past. It also gets brake assist for its four-wheel antilocks, but the powertrain remains the same, with a 1.8-liter engine mated to a five-speed manual or automatic transmission. Front bucket seats and power mirrors are both heated, and leather is found throughout. The leather-wrapped tilt and telescoping steering wheel holds controls for the CD/MP3 player with iPod adapter, and power windows, doors, and sunroof are all included as well. Further convenience features include cruise control, air conditioning, and an outside temperature indicator. Safety gets handled by six standard airbags, four-wheel antilock disc brakes with brake assist, and a tire pressure monitor.

Here you’ll get a 2.0-liter powerhouse coupled with a six-speed manual transmission – the only option. There are further big upgrades here, notably a limited-slip differential and upgraded four-wheel antilock disc brakes with brake assist. Traction and stability control are also included, along with a sport-tuned suspension, foglights, rear spoiler, and 17-inch alloys wrapped in performance tires.
