This is a great car. slightly over 40,000 miles and one problem with the rear motor mount shortly after car was purchased. Dealer repaired and not problems since. Change the oil, add gas and away we go! vs2011 Chevrolet Equinox 2LT FWD

Excellent Buy. — This was an excellent car. It was sporty, roomy, and handled extremely well. The engine provided great gas mileage, but less than desirable power. Looking for something that can tow a heavier load. Will be looking to upgrade to the V6 and tow package. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Gas mileage, space, comfort, appearance, handling. Cons: Acceleration |

Perfect For Me! — This is my second Terrain. I fist had a 2010 SLE1. I only had it for a year when I was rearended by a larger truck and smushed into the vehicle in front of me. The vehicle was totaled and the only thing I had was a bruise on the back of my calf. So it is definitely a safe vehicle. When shopping for somtheing new, nothing compared, so I bought a 2011 SLT1. Can't beat the gas mileage for this size vehicle. I average 22 mpg. It's super stylish and to quote GMC, it's definitely "professional grade". It's quiet. Not loud like most SUV's I've driven or rode in. I am single, but have a bullmastiff, which is why I needed a vehicle with cargo space. I can definitely see me driving this vehicle for years and when I start a family. I definitely recommend it. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: I love the way it looks, intererior and exterior! The sliding backseat is great for when I have extra cargo. I also love the deep center console, rearview camera, and information panel. Cons: The only think I dislike is the 4 cyl. acceleration, but the sacrifice is worth the gas mileage. |

The Car Is Well Made We Are Happy With Our Purchase. — The four cylinder engine gets great gas mileage and performs well with the six speed transmission. There are times that the acceleration lags a bit creating a bit of a surge feeling, but it does not happen much. I must say that the Terrain virtually eliminates road noise and has a very comfortable cabin. My only complaint is the front pillars for the windshield are thick and sometimes impair my vision. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Drives well and is very comfortable for larger drivers Cons: 32 mpg rating is for very specific conditions |

Great Car — I like the look and the comfort and the stability of my car. I totally enjoy driving my car. I have not notice any noises and there isn't any bind spots. I did regular scheduled oil change and the gas mileage and maintenance cost is pretty fair. the acceleration is okay and it has great brake. I feel safe and in control when driving my car. It is a fun vehicle to drive. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: I enjoy this Car. It looks slick and rides smooth Cons: none |

We Love It And Plan On A Long Life With This Vehicle — I own the four cyl direct injection and am quite satisfied with the performance, the car has no rattles or squeaks it's solid as a tank, the appearance is such you love it or hate it,so far at just over four hundred miles we are very happy with the gas mileage, the Terrain is very much satisfying to drive first vehicle I've ever owned with electric power steering very nice. After receiving a letter from General Motors telling us that there is a flaw in the engine and there answer wasn't to fix it just extend our warranty to ten years needless to say we got rid of it asap. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Very comfortable ride Cons: none that I've discovered August 2013 got notice from General Motors offering to extend my warranty to ten years 120000 due to critical flaw in engine ( needless to say GMC is gone.) |
