Get It. It Is Good. — Its a sick car. It looks really nice, and with some body mods, it looks godly. 300 horsepower and torque is still good. Great car for the value, only starting at $18 000 for the 2.0L. Saved my dad's life with the new safety technology. GET THIS CAR.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive. Innovative design.

Cons: Korean haters.

Thus Far It Exceeds My Expectations And My Expectations Were Damm High — Although I have owned the car for 6 months, I am retired so I have only driven it 3000 miles. It is everything you could want in a car. Good looking - comfortable and a blast to drive. It is my daily drive and I look forward to using it!!! Far superior to all my previous rides. (Mostly Toyota Celicas)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Looks, handling, fuel economy, comfort.  Couldn't be better

Cons: Clutch travel is a little long

My Genny! — turbo perfect for tuner! the others should take the 3.8l engine. otherwise it is a great sport car. awesome interior finish but like all hyundai, the paint is not tought enought on it. rear wheel drive with traction control that do the job.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: full equip

Cons: gear ratio too low

Hyundai Has Some Tweeking To Do. — Braking and handling are superb. This car is a superstar at altitude in the mountains. Closer to sea level the 2.0T simply is overwhelmed by the mass of the car and the fact that the 2.0T is slow to rev, even in neutral. Less inertial mass and more boost are in order to improve the sporting pretensions of this car. Build quality is not up to the expectations of the Genesis name. So far I've experienced several electrical glitches with the air conditioning and stereo and the drivers seat isn't up to the task of the forces that the handling of the car can dish out. Real-world fuel economy of the 2.0T lags behind that of the 3.8. The best fuel economy I've seen is 26 MPG driving east (ie. downhill) through Kansas at 65 MPH. Normal driving results in 21 to 22 MPG. 3.8 drivers are reporting normal driving results of 23 to 24 MPG.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: One of the best handling cars on the road.

Cons: V8 fuel economy in an I4 engine.

Hyundai — Hyundai did a great job with this one. I was looking for a 2 door for awhile but didn't want an Accord and didn't want to spend the money on a G35. This car is peppy and looks great on the road!!

Pros: quick, cute, excellent sound system

Cons: no stock window tint

This Can't Be A Hyundai — I can only sum up this car in three letters "wow". This car went beyond all my expectations. First off, the car is a real athlete. Quick acceleration comes from a 306 hp (312 hp w/ premium fuel) 3.8L V6 which can get the car from a standstill to 60 mph in about 5.5 seconds. top speed is rated at 152 mph but if you take the limiter off it can do well over 160 mph. Handling is just as impressive with a 68 mph slalom speed and .89 on the skid-pad. Bridge stone Potenza tires and 18 inch alloy wheels really help put these numbers up on the board. Styling is spot on. The Coupe has a number of curves that really give it a sleek completion. And the styling continues into the interior with black leather seating, and aluminum decorating the cup holders, dash board and door handles. Overall this car has great value. With a base price of just 25,000 dollars you get tons of technology which you have to pay extra for in other luxury sport coupes. I give this car a 4.5 out of 5.

Pros: acceleration, handling, styling, interior space and comfort, just plain fun to drive

Cons: nothing so far
