Great City Drive But Can Give You Excitement When You Need It — Never had the pleasure of taking my Z on the track, was focused on aesthetically modifying the vehicle but when being able to drive it on the commute in the morning you never really needed a cup of coffee just that exhaust noise and a good light right foot.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: awesome power, stunning good looks nothing looks like it on the road

Cons: fuel economy is a little of a challenge, storage is expected to be slim but some cars manage more room in the same package size

James Bond Car But No Space For His Gear! — I am looking to sell this car. I love it but it's just a fun weekend ride for me. Can't haul groceries or anything else that I need to do. But I have fun on the weekend! Very cool car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks awesome and fun to drive

Cons: Room for two people only and nothing else

Love The Speed And Handiling — The 2009-12 370Z is an excellent choice for someone who likes sports cars and knows how to drive them. It has the looks of the classic Datsun Z but with wider fenders and way more engine. The 6 speed manual is fun and easy to shift and goes well with the drive by wire throttle. The seats are roomy and comfy.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: sleek body, some old school looks with a modern twist

Cons: rear and side visibility is not so great.

It's A Car For A Specific Interest Group: People Looking For A Fun Car Without Paying German Prices. —

As with most professional reviews, I agree that the performance of the car is great, especially for the relative value. Plenty of punch coming on an on-ramp, and it handles the twists and turns the way you'd want from a rear wheel drive sports car. I haven't had too much experience with ownership cost yet, as I've only had it six months. Fuel mileage is livable. On the highway, which is mostly what I drive, it's okay. (high 20s) If you want to give it some juice though, it'll drain the tank pretty quickly. It's hard to strike a happy middle ground with this car. Visibility is pretty crappy when you're trying to back out of a parking spot, particularly when you're surrounded by SUVs. (Of course, the only way to see around SUVs is the be in another SUV.) However, with the mirrors you can see the dimensions of the car VERY easily, which makes parking easy, especially if you're parallel parking or backing in somewhere. The syncorev matching feature is awesome. As someone who didn't have a whole lot of experience driving stick before this car, it was a godsend until I ironed out the kinks. Of course this is not a car for someone who has a lot of practical needs. Cargo space is enough for about, I'd say, three bags of groceries laid sideways, and it is a two-seater. But hey, that's why my wife has a car. Road noise is also something people have complained about. It is a bit loud, I think due in part to the OE runflat tires, which I won't be using when it's time to replace them. Overall the noise is passable, to me. That's something you'd have to evaluate on your own.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Power, Handling, Looks, Fun Driving

Cons: Rear visibility

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: amazing

Best Z Ever — Great Performance, but would be better with a twin-turbo mod. Look is just awesome, outside and inside. I really like the fact that you can unlock, start engine, and lock with your keys in your pocket. Very fun to drive when u remove traction control :P

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Look

Z Go Fast — If you don't like this car then there is something wrong with you. I have never lost a race to anyone with a V6 in this thing. This is probably one of the funnest cars you'll drive. Plus there is the drifting!!!!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Awesome

Cons: Nothing bad

The Newest Zed Iteration — This car has been great since day one. I've taken it to the track and it performed very well in almost every aspect. I added an oil cooler which from what I've learned is necessary for track time. The brakes need some minor upgrading to really compete, and that will be taken care of soon.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: How it looks, and the nice flat torque curve.

Cons: Rock chips from the crappy roads around here.

Real Sports Car — It does what you want it to do. It's swifty and quick. The looks reminds me of my all time favorite Datsun 240z, but you don't get the same feeling. It's fun to drive, but i prefer older Z's. I get about 17 to the gallon. It's not bad for the way i drive, it's a big improvement from my 11mpg 1990 300zx.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Passing people on the highways.

Cons: Getting pulled over.
