Power, reliability, style. A Benz sports at its best. Start, drive and enjoy. A car that never says no.

Great little convertible! Rode smooth and quiet. The top was easy to get up and down. It was comfortable even for a tall person.

Per my mechanic, don’t walk, but run from Benz and BMW as mechanically, they are NOT what they used to be.

Great Slk — This is a great car to have with its hard top and its looks. Fun to go 230 kph on the higway and take the curves. It has great braking even on an emergeny in a curves. The handling is amaizing and you won't have any problems with bumps.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great look and having a hard top

Cons: none

2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class SLK 350 Review
jpc1953 says:
Smoother ride than my 09 135i, more of a cruiser but with attitude, definitely get the AMG sport package (improved handling, 18 rims, exterior sharper/more aggressive look), its a little classier than the Beemer (1 Series is no longer made, really dumb on BMWs part), the Merc is strictly a two-seater but trunk is surprisingly large even with top down, can get my clubs in if I take out the driver and 3-wood and set them along side the bag, ride is very comfortable but not mushy, no manual trans after 08 is a bummer but the sport package has paddle shifters (7-speed).

"A little more exotic, sleeker look, more of a head-turner. "
Would Buy Ranked 2009 BMW 1 Series 135i Coupe RWD worse.
"Both great cars, different market appeal. The SLK350 is more of a cruiser, especially with automatic (not manual trans available) whereas the 135i with manual 6-speed more powerful and responsive feeling. SLK has a retractable hard-top, BMW roomier and more practical, the Merc has a little more panache. "

It has very good aceleration. However, there are three negative points for me: (1) terrible right blind spot, (3) absence of rear view camera or blind spot camera and (3) road noise was high. Read More
