Best Car I Have Owned! — Mercedes really does build a very nice car. It looks great and very comfortable and exciting to drive. I loved driving it on the winding hilly roads with the top down, if your a convertible fan then this is the car for you. It kept me nice and dry during the winter months and the heated and ventilated seats are awesome. Performance wise with the sports package it is short of amazing. It handles aggressively and hugs the corners like crazy. The "shiftamatic" system is like driving a manual without a clutch, pretty sweet.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: A very enjoyable driving roadster. Very comfortable ride. Very little wind noise when top is down and very quiet when top is up.

Cons: Cost of maintenance, a Mercedes is not cheat to have the routine maintenance done.

It Is A Great Car, It Manages Very Nicely, Its Quiet, No Exterior Noise.extremely Comfortable. — The thing I did not like about this car is when the tire sensor came on, which meant that one or more tires was low on air, so one has to be precise on the amount of air in the tires. It is a nice quiet car, the engine is so quiet. There is no shimmy whats so ever that some convertibles have. The soft top goes nicely into the trunk, this way you still have room to put things. If there is ever a problem when your in the car there is a phone to call for help....I drive this car only for pleasure....I even hate to take it to the stores so I ask my friend to lets go shopping and she picks me up.........

Pros: Great sound system, extremely comfortable, beautiful looking car, doors open wide,
easy car to drive, I love everything about it. For a convertible it is very quiet and rides smooth.

Cons: I just enjoy this car so much, there is nothing bad that I can say. I keep this car garaged
in my garage all winter, it does not like the winters, it has rear wheel drive.

Great Car! — Car is very attractive. Build quality, fit & finish excellent, inside and out. Handling excellent, ride quality stiff but comfortable. Comand system navigation somewhat cumbersome, but climate & audio functions intuitive & easy to use. Has ample power with decent gas mileage; transmission very smooth & seems to always select the proper gear for driving condition. unlike some other automatics. Car is a blast to drive on twisty troads.

Pros: very crisp handling; ample power for a 6 cylinder; sharp looking; very comfortable front seats, even for long drives; gas mileage not bad

Cons: back seats useless for normal sized adults; top squeaks on windshield header

The Infamous Benz Convertible... The A209 Clk350 — Mercedes introduced the CLK convertible back in 02', and the have not majorly redesigned the CLK. As the last year of the A209 production, this second generation 09' CLK350 is not that much different from the previous ones. With a 3.5L V6 engine pumping out 268hp and 258tq, it needs just a tad more power to haul its heavy convertible mechanism. The seats are moderately comfortable for a car at this price range, while the interior design should have been updated a long time ago. The navigation is the hardest ever to use; even the BMW iDrive is more user friendly than the Mercedes Nav of this generation. In terms of driving, the pickup is pretty good for such a heavy car, and when the top is down, one could care less about how fast it goes. Overall this is a great vehicle but not worth its price tag, in my honest opinion.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Luxury, styling, gas mileage, good sized backseat for a 2-door

    Cons: Handling, navigation

Clk 550. It's No Fun Driving A Super Car Unless You Get Scared Stupid Every Once In A While. — Acceleration is blistering, with the traction control disabled, you could spin the tires all day long. Initial build quality leaves something to be desired. The power steering fluid leaked into the rack which required the entire rack to be replaced with 400 miles on the clock. A lot of fun to drive, am not convinced the car has the correct suspension. At times it feels too soft, and at over bumps or with potholes too stiff. GPS time is 5 hours and 3 minutes offset from system time. MB can't figure out how to fix it.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: More than enough power.  Great handling

Cons: Convertible top sensor often infuriating.

Excellent, Sporty, Fun To Drive. Head Turner. — Handles great. Very quick and responsive. Especially fun in the spring/summer months. Great for day to day needs. Good trunk space, even more when top is up. Not neccessarily ideal for large families, but great for individuals or couples.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Excellent Summer Car. Fun to drive. Sporty.

    Cons: Not much cargo space
