Nothing But Mazda3 — My priorities about a car is attractiveness in appearance, solidity, flexibility and pleasure of driving which Mazda3 Touring gives all to me. My selection of Mazda3 about solidity has been a conscious one having made some serious searches. Being one of top awarded brands justfiy this enough.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Design, solidity and driving pleasure

Cons: Nothing

Great Value All Around! — I love this car! Has the sport compact look but is still really roomy. There are so many options for Mazda3 owners when it comes to modifications. It is such a fun car and is a great value on gas!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gets awesome gas mileage and still looks sporty and fun!

Cons: Only a 2.0 liter

Love My Zoom Zoom — I've had this car for 4+ months and 6,000 miles now - the handling is like nothing I've ever seen in a sedan, very fast for a 4 cylinder, and she looks great - lots of extras in the i-touring package, overall a great deal and a great car!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: gorgeous, great handling

Cons: gas mileage could be better on local driving

Awesome Appearance And Value — A very nice car. it offers a lot of nice value. these are very zippy, even with the 2.0 engine. looks great for a good value-if you need a small car, this is the one! fun to drive, good mpg, nice interior and controls, good styling!

Pros: Zoom zoom experience, great styling, handles well and is great to drive with good mpg, fun 5 speed

Cons: Tough once you get it dirty to keep it clean, kind of cramped backseat

Great Little Car — Performance: Zoom. Mazda's advertising slogan fits perfectly for the Mazda3. The suspension and chassis tuning are spot on. The steering is well weighted with good feel, and the shifter is smooth. Very entertaining to drive. Engine performance is adequate but torquey. Build quality: I've had several services done to address minor creaks and rattles. Otherwise, the interior is now rattle-free and the materials are high quality. Appearance: Gorgeous. Just look at pictures. Cost: MPG is okay, nothing to write home about. Interior: Phenomenal interior for price segment. What cars can you get leather seats, seat warmers, HID headlights, rain sensing wipers, 17" wheels, and a Bose audio system for under $22k?

Pros: Fantastic value, exciting driving dynamics, styling

Cons: So-so MPG, spotty build quality, down on power compared to fellow Japanese compacts

2009 Mazda3 — I rented and drove a brand new 2009 Mazda3 in Calgary. Needless to say I could care less about rental cars, but for a brand new Mazda, I was very unimpressed. The ride was stiff, steering was sloppy, and the cooling system was quite loud compared to other cars in its class.

Pros: Sporty Look, Decent trunk size

Cons: Harsh Ride, hard to use console controls

Pros: great styling, performance

Cons: wish it came in awd

Nothing to write home about. Just meh. I had made some significant repairs to a Mazda 3 sport before, but it didnt return on the investment. Additionally, the older Mazda 3s had cheaper interior cloth that will get wrecked if you have kids or pets.

Handling Ranked 2009 Honda Civic Si with Nav and Summer Tires better.
"Tires, tires, and tires. Additionally, I replaced my stock suspension with Konis, I had Neuspeed Sport Springs (now discontinued), and currently on Tein H Techs, and a 22mm Progress Rear sway bar, so yeah; it will totally destroy a Mazda 3 Sport in the straight line and back roads."
Would Buy Ranked 2009 Honda Civic Si with Nav and Summer Tires better.
"Retains value, and runs for a substantially longer period time. K20a3 motors are highly sought after, so why would I get rid of mine?"
