This Lexus exceeded my grandsons expectations, he actually drove it from MI to GA, where he is living! A wonderful investment for him and a very pleasant transaction!

I expected that after a week any car I purchased would begin to feel normal and the new toy sensation would wear off. Not the case here, I actually appreciate it more every day. The only issue I have is the center console stack. While it is extremely functional, touch screen works great and intuitive to navigate, it looks like its from the 80s. This look is reinforced by the presence of a cassette player (my 13 year old doesnt know what a CD is, imagine his confusion). To top it off you can make phone calls via Bluetooth but it doesnt allow for playing music..... There is a aux jack which saved me the embarrassment of having to purchase a cassette to Bluetooth interface but I think you get the point. There are some relatively inexpensive ways to get music via Bluetooth or the entire stack can be converted into a massive tesla style tablet for $600. I will stick with the aux jack. Drives like a new car, plenty of hp, comfortable, features are all extremely well thought out and implemented. I really couldnt be happier unless the cassette deck disappeared

Excellent, Comfortable Car — This is the second car I own and I have to say that it's the best purchase I ever made. I love the comfortable seats, simple but elegant interior, great handling and the lauded reliability. My only con is the softness of the break pads, requires extra effort to press.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Extremely comfortable, with a smooth, powerful V6 naturally aspirated engine.

Cons: Breaks are too soft and driving can be boring at times

This Really A Luxury Car That Drives With Ease! — Loved everything about this car, except I realized I truly like a car that corners like a sport car, which is more the GS or IS. The maintenance cost are low. You really don't have to worry about when something needs to be repaired, because the car will tell you due to the maintenance notification. That's half the battle in providing longevity to a vehicle that already has a history of a long life.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Ease of drive, comfortable, great leg room in front and back.

Cons: If you prefer a vehicle that handles like a sports car....this is not for you!

Pretty Good Reliable Transport, But Not The Marketing-hyped Lexus Quality Expected — Overall, comfortable, quiet, tastefully styled car. Less than usual expected attention to details in fit and finish with slightly misaligned steering wheel and front door rattles. Fuel economy has been suprisingly good ( and has been beating specifications. Steering a little 'floaty' on the road, lots of 'micro' course corrections constantly needed on highway. Recent major recall for the accelerator pedal malfunction (along with 4 million other Toyota owners) Biggest problem is so called standard 'Premium Audio' system is a tinny, cheap-sounding affront to the ears that is an embarassment. This disappointment blindsided me, since I took for granted the expected quality of the brand to carry over to the audio and did not pay much attention until after purchase. Mark Levinson upgrade packaged in expensive 'ultra' option package with odd unrelated accompanying features. Unless you simply don't care about the sound system at all, avoid this mistake and pass on the standard audio system. Since this car is marketed as a 'luxury' vehicle, a high quality sound system should go without saying, but costs must have to be cut somewhere. Or just drive without the stereo on, and listen to the quiet instead.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Quiet, fuel efficient, comfortable seats

Cons: Cheap, tinny standard audio, major safety recall, expensive option packages
